I always give thanks to the earth when I harvest. Even when it’s just a little twig of herb.
And when planting seeds, I ask that they may grow big and strong.
My grandmother taught me to be humble to nature, and to respect it deeply. “You’ll be nothing without it child, if you take care of them they’ll take care of you” – she said. And so, I talk to my garden, both the one indoors and the one outdoors. I ask the plants and trees how they are doing. This way I can sense what they need, and make sure it’s taken care of.
Plants are like people, they respond to the vibrations of our voice, and will thrive if we love and listen to them.
